"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven."
Trixie smiled as she closed her top dresser drawer. Seven bags of those yummy jelly beans that she loved so much were carefully tucked in the back of the drawer. The stores only carried them around Easter time so Trixie made sure to stock up. Her stock had to last her as long as possible. By scanning the Sunday ads in the newspaper, Trixie was able to make her purchases prudently. She dreaded the thought that somebody would find her stash and expose her addiction.
"Diana buys shoes. Honey buys dresses. My habit is cheap and small in comparison. I ought to make a petition for that company to produce these jelly beans year round," she thought to herself.
Buoyed by the thought of her beloved jelly beans being available throughout the year, Trixie opened her computer and began composing a letter to the manufacturer. Midway through her writing, Trixie went over to her dresser and got a handful of the jelly beans. She stood at her desk and reviewed her work as she chewed the delicious candies.
"Oh yeah, this is one habit I have no intention of breaking," she vowed as she grabbed another handful.
