Heart-Breaker

Trixie entered he squad room and headed towards her desk. She was stopped in her tracks by the presence of a huge bouquet on her desk. Trixie gasped in delight as she recognized a "cookie bouquet".

"Yum," Trixie exclaimed. "Somebody knows how to love me."

Trixie began examining the bouquet and sniffing at the cookies that were shaped like hearts.

"Hey, Detective," Spider Webster questioned, "Are you going to be sharing the love?"

"Nope," Trixie replied firmly. "These are mine, all mine."

Trixie decided right then and there to indulge her growling stomach with a cookie. She carefully unwrapped one and placed it lovingly on her desk.

"Ummmmm, smells delish," she murmured.

Trixie picked up the cookie and began nibbling at the edges. As she was turning the cookie around in her hand, Dan Mangan came striding into the squad room. He was carrying a pile of folders and wasn't looking where he was going. He tripped and the folders fell directly onto Trixie's shoulder causingtThe delectable cookie to break in half. The squad room suddenly became very quiet. Ruining a sweet treat of Trixie's was a dangerous thing to do.

"Oops. Oh sorry, Trix." apologized Dan.

Trixie looked up into the eyes of her truly sorry husband and smiled.

"Oh Dan", she said softly. "you're such a heart-breaker!"
